Drain Valve, Hollow PTFE Stem, Replacement Components

SciMac Drain Valve complete with Glass Body. The hollowed PTFE valve stem with our original Chemical resistant PTFE Capped O-Rings allows the contents of the flask to drain directly through the valve. When closed, the PTFE plunger tip of the valve seals flush into the lower opening of the flask avoiding any crevasses or dead space that could collect sample material, providing complete mixing and drainage of the vessel contents. The SciMac Drain Valve is available in 6mm and 12mm; this dimension refers to the straight section of the plunger. The 6mm size permits solids up to 1.5mm. to pass through and the 12mm size will allow solids up to 2mm in size. The 6mm Size uses a 0-12 glass barrel and size 12mm uses a 0-20 glass barrel. The lower portion of the valve has a 12mm or 18mm diameter connection for attachment of flexible tubing to allow flask contents to be transferred into a collection vessel.
