What does the Ts symbol stand for?
Standard Taper Ground Joints Specifications: Ts is the symbol used to designate interchangeable taper-ground joints, stoppers, adapters, stirrer bearings and sleeves. Standard taper PTFE components and ground glass joints are manufactured according to ASTM1 E 676 specifications and are finished to a precise 1:10 taper. PTFE Stopcock plugs have a 1-5 taper and are manufactured according to ASTM E 911 specification.
