SciMac 402 Gaskets are made from smooth Virgin PTFE® providing an effective seal. Use of a clamp with slight pressure on the gasket helps to create a good seal. Gaskets made of PTFE are resistant to chemical corrosion. The can also withstand high temperature environments. The temperatures range is -260C to 315C (-450F to 600F).
