SciMac now makes Teflon stoppers with a Black Extraction Nut for safe removal from standard taper glass joints. By turning the extraction nut on the top of the stopper you apply a gentle even pressure against the top of the glass joint enabling the stopper to be easily removed. Autoclave safe at 121˚C (250˚F) by removal of the nut. PTFE, Delrin Extraction Nut, Complies to ASTM E675
