SciMac Teflon Sheathed Stirrer Rods for Large scale reactors, Precision machined 28mm outer PTFE Diameter. The outer tolerance of +.000 -.003″ provides a good seal in your stirrer bearing. The inner core is 3/4″ 316 Ø pump shaft quality Stainless Steel. A perfect alternative to glass for those applications where the added purity of all Teflon is desirable with the added benefit and strength of SS. Shafts have a 2” exposed stainless-steel top for secure gripping to stirring motor or universal adapter. (PN-2025) Use with our Teflon Compression hub agitators or have a custom agitator permanently attached to the shaft. The 28mm shafts can be made with thur holes if you require. Code H = Hollow shaft core with welded shut ends creating a lighter shaft. When placing an order please include your exact length requirements.
