Grease Free PTFE® stirrer bearing that is designed for moderate vacuum pressures up to 10-6 Torr. Bearing consists of a threaded glass adapter with a standard taper inner joint, PTFE body bushing with a compression cap, locking nut, FPM washer, and a precision 25.4mm PTFE® inner bearing sleeve. The saddle O-Ring provides only glass and PTFE® contact with the reaction, while allowing for a vacuum tight seal. The design of the bearing allows replacement of the PTFE® saddle O-Ring and/or the 25.4mm inner Sleeve at a fraction of the total unit cost. For use with polished 25.4mm glass stirrer shafts. Also available in 100% glass filled PTFE for added strength, part number 2096.
