The test tubes are made from pure PTFE. They have a smooth internal finish that makes removing the contents easy. The PTFE does not contaminate the contents inside the tube. The test tube can withstand temperatures up to 280°C. It is important not to overheat the test tubes because it will cause a breakdown in material that can lead to contamination. The test tubes come with and without caps and with a choice of conical or round bottom.
