SciMac-Thread, PTFE Compression Cap with Aperture. When the cap is threaded onto the connector the O-ring is compressed downward and inward onto the glass, creating a grease free vacuum tight seal. Cap is Autoclavable made from virgin white PTFE for temperatures from 500°F, 260°C and to below -454°F, -270°C. Continuous service temperature of 500°F. *Unsuitable for liquid sodium, Elemental Fluorine and Molten alkali metals. Use with part numbers 700, 720, & 724 glass connectors. Compatible with CG-350 connectors.
